“Arrest Made in Corner Brook Shooting Incident”

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has reported the arrest of a 36-year-old individual named Scott King in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Monday within a residence in Corner Brook.

According to the RNC, officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence on Parkwood Drive at approximately 11:30 p.m. NT. Allegedly, King unlawfully entered the home and discharged a firearm.

Following the incident, a male was discovered with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The individual was subsequently transported to the hospital, with authorities stating that the injuries are not deemed life-threatening.

Scott King was taken into custody on Tuesday and is now facing various charges related to assault and firearms. He has been detained pending a court appearance.
