“Arson Incidents Strike Brampton and Mississauga”

Peel Regional Police are currently looking into two separate incidents of arson that occurred overnight on Sunday in Brampton and Mississauga, Ontario. The first incident occurred at a residential location near Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue W around 12:30 a.m. Authorities responded to a fire call and confirmed that there were no injuries reported.

In a separate incident, Mississauga Fire Department received a call from a concerned neighbor who observed flames on the exterior of a house. Firefighters quickly responded, extinguished the fire, and safely evacuated the occupants from the residence.

Additionally, Peel Regional Police received a report of a vehicle fire at around 1:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Queen Street East and Rutherford Road. The vehicle was unoccupied, and fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident.

Both cases are currently being treated as arson investigations; however, authorities have stated that there is no apparent connection between the two incidents at this time.
