The Conservative Party of Canada has announced a new fundraising milestone for the year 2025, raising nearly $48 million from over 327,000 individual donations. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre expressed gratitude for the widespread support, citing it as a testament to the party’s vision for a safer and more affordable Canada.
Elections Canada data reveals that the Conservative Party collected $28.1 million in the initial quarter of the year, followed by $9 million in the second quarter and $4.2 million in the third. A fourth-quarter fundraising report is underway, with projections indicating a total of over $6.4 million raised in the final months of 2025.
Poilievre highlighted the significance of these contributions in bolstering the party’s readiness to challenge the governing Carney Liberals in the upcoming elections. Comparatively, the Liberal Party disclosed raising over $29 million in 2025, nearly double its 2024 fundraising total, as reported last week.
The Liberals accumulated $13.2 million in the first quarter, $7.6 million in the second, and $2.95 million in the third, as per Elections Canada figures. Azam Ishmael, the Liberal Party’s national director, described the year as historic and emphasized the party’s ongoing momentum.
In contrast, the New Democratic Party garnered $4.6 million in donations during the initial nine months of 2025. Final fundraising statistics for the last trimester of 2025 are pending release by Elections Canada.
