Additionally, Levy reflected on his co-star and friend, Catherine O’Hara, who passed away in January at the age of 71.
O’Hara, the renowned Canadian comedic actress, succumbed to a blood clot in her lung, a condition she had not publicly disclosed, while also battling cancer. Her unexpected death shocked Hollywood and her devoted fans, who cherished her performances in iconic productions such as “Home Alone,” “Beetlejuice,” “Best in Show,” and notably, “Schitt’s Creek,” where she portrayed the dramatic Moira Rose.
Levy shared that revisiting the community where “Schitt’s Creek” was filmed stirred unexpected emotions within him. When asked about the possibility of a sequel, Levy responded somberly that it was not feasible at the moment. He had contemplated a reboot previously, but O’Hara’s demise altered his perspective.
