Toronto Sceptres’ forward, Daryl Watts, was recognized for her outstanding performance in December as she secured a spot in the PWHL’s starting six on Friday. The accolades highlight the top three forwards, two defenders, and one goaltender based on their gameplay in the preceding month.
Watts showcased consistency by registering at least one point in five out of seven games during December. Among her four goals scored last month was a crucial game-winning goal in Toronto’s victory over Montreal last weekend.
Joining Watts in the prestigious lineup are forwards Kendall Coyne Schofield and Britta Curl-Salemme from the Minnesota Frost. The defensive standouts acknowledged were Megan Keller and Haley Winn of the Boston Fleet, while Aerin Frankel, a teammate of Keller and Winn, was recognized as the top goaltender of the month.
