Theodore has once again secured the top spot as the most favored baby name on Prince Edward Island in the year 2025. According to P.E.I.’s Vital Statistics, 12 newborns on the Island were named Theodore this year. In 2024, Theodore also held the leading position alongside Charlotte, who has now slipped to seventh place this year.
Tying for second place with nine occurrences each are the names Violet and John, both absent from last year’s list. Notable names from the previous year, such as Evelyn, Nolan, Luke, Liam, Thomas, Ava, Claire, Leo, and Wyatt, did not make it to this year’s top names list.
The compilation of the top 10 names for boys and girls is current as of December 11, as CBC has consolidated all the names into one comprehensive list.
