“Yellowknife Resident Apprehended After Knife Menace”

RCMP officials have apprehended a Yellowknife resident following an incident where he menaced a security guard with a knife in the downtown area on Thursday. The police were alerted at approximately midday about the attack on the security guard by an individual armed with a knife at an apartment complex. Fortunately, the security guard managed to escape unharmed. Despite being uncooperative, the man was eventually taken into custody with the assistance of a police canine. Charges of assault with a weapon and non-compliance with a probation order have been filed against him, and he is currently being held in custody.
