A tragic accident on Route 335 in Laval, Quebec, resulted in the death of a six-year-old girl and injuries to eight others on Monday evening. The Laval police reported that multiple vehicles were involved in the collision between Dagenais Boulevard and Saint-Saëns Street around 7:30 p.m., possibly due to the snowy conditions that evening.
Among the injured individuals, a five-month-old baby remains in critical condition. Authorities are currently speaking with a 40-year-old man who is considered a key witness to the incident. Updates on his condition will be provided by the police.
Emergency services disclosed that five of the victims, including the baby, a child, and three adults, were unconscious when they were taken to the hospital.
